Summary

Objectives
Project targeted disadvantaged youth in Türkiye, especially from rural areas with limited access to ESC opportunities. Aim was to involve them in local and international volunteering, build their skills and employability, create international links, increase their participation in civil society, and raise their awareness of Erasmus+ and ESC.

Implementation
Activities ran from January 2022 to December 2023 with 18 volunteers hosted in Spain and Italy. Volunteers designed and delivered arts-based activities, language sessions, painting and theatre workshops. They engaged local youth, promoted inclusion at community level and organised cultural events such as language exchanges and food festivals. They also carried out structured outreach to promote ESC and Erasmus+ through local presentations and peer engagement.

Results
Local youth gained skills and became more active in community life. Partner organisations strengthened cooperation and reinforced European values. Dissemination increased the visibility of ESC and the Turkish National Agency. Volunteers developed intercultural, communication, teamwork, facilitation, project-design, youth-work, digital and language skills, expanded social responsibility, improved financial self-management and deepened their understanding of non-formal learning and European programmes.
