Objectives
Project aimed to support disadvantaged young people in Türkiye by increasing their access to social participation and to the European Solidarity Corps. Focus was on youth from rural, low-income and socially excluded backgrounds. Objectives included their social integration through volunteering, strengthening international connections with peers from EU countries, promoting active citizenship in local civil society and increasing awareness of Erasmus+ and ESC opportunities to support informed participation and long-term empowerment.

Implementation
Project ran from December 2022 to November 2024 and involved 45 volunteers from Germany, North Macedonia, Spain, Greece and Italy. Volunteers delivered arts-based and creative activities such as language sessions, painting, theatre and community workshops. They designed small projects, engaged local youth and promoted inclusion through events, food festivals and language exchanges. Volunteers also carried out structured dissemination on ESC and Erasmus+ through local meetings, online events and peer-learning sessions. Activities increased visibility of the programmes and strengthened intercultural dialogue.

Results
Project strengthened skills of local disadvantaged youth, improved their participation in community life and increased their awareness of social and cultural diversity. Organisations involved expanded cooperation and reinforced European values at institutional level. Dissemination activities by volunteers increased visibility of ESC and the Turkish National Agency across local, regional and national levels. Volunteers gained teamwork, intercultural communication, creativity and initiative competences and improved their language and youth-work skills.
