Objectives
The project supports young people in Samsun and the surrounding region by strengthening their skills, cultural awareness, and ability to live in diverse environments. Priority is given to disadvantaged youth who have limited chances to experience another country, language, or culture due to social, geographic, or economic barriers. The project aims to increase their European consciousness, improve socialisation and adaptation skills, and offer experiences that can benefit their future education and career paths. Volunteers will participate in 59-day activities in Bulgaria, Italy, North Macedonia, Russia, and Spain.
Implementation
Activities follow the principles of voluntary service and focus on cultural learning, community involvement, and non-formal education. Young participants engage in local tasks, intercultural exchange, teamwork, and community events, gaining practical experience and exposure to different social environments. Partners host volunteers and provide supervision, learning opportunities, and structured tasks aligned with the project goals.
Results
The project contributes to social inclusion, active participation, and improved employability for disadvantaged youth. Participants gain a clearer understanding of multiculturalism, stronger personal skills, and broader perspectives. Local communities benefit from volunteer involvement, and partnerships between organisations are strengthened through cooperation, exchange of experience, and shared good practices.
