Objectives
Project aimed to empower disadvantaged youth by increasing participation and active citizenship at local, regional, national and international levels. It focused on social diplomacy, intercultural dialogue and shared problem-solving. Network partners supported volunteers in developing new ideas, drafting projects, strengthening organisational capacity and deepening knowledge of Erasmus+ and EYF opportunities. Activities were adapted to volunteers’ interests.
Activities
Volunteers supported educational sessions. They created creative–educational workshops. They contributed to anti-discrimination, social inclusion and youth participation campaigns. They prepared information stands and local outreach events. They produced digital content and storytelling videos for the organisation’s blog. They supported dissemination and project visibility. They assisted in drafting Erasmus+ project proposals. Consortium planned to send 4 volunteers to four countries. Profile: 18–30, motivated for socio-cultural work, interested in early childhood, migration and inclusion, open to dialogue, adaptable, responsible and team-oriented.
Results
Project increased youth participation and strengthened volunteers’ civic engagement. Volunteers improved communication, teamwork and intercultural competences. They gained experience in creative workshop design, digital content creation and community outreach. Organisations improved cooperation, exchanged tools and strengthened their capacity for inclusive youth work. Local communities benefited from awareness activities promoting diversity, equality and youth involvement. The project contributed to wider recognition of volunteering as a tool for personal growth, social responsibility and European citizenship.
