Summary

Objectives
The project uses volunteering as an alternative to violence. It builds self-knowledge, personal development, and awareness of European values for six volunteers from Spain, Moldova, and Turkey. It raises awareness among local young people about school violence, drug use, and the role of volunteering, multiculturalism, solidarity, and non-formal learning.

Implementation
Volunteers spent seven months in Brăila. Activities included community integration, personal-development sessions, non-formal education, journalism tasks, school workshops, and campaigns against violence and drug use. Street events, exhibitions, marches, multilingual materials, and Erasmus+ promotion were carried out. International days were marked through thematic actions.

Results
Volunteers gained practical experience in non-formal education and non-violent communication. Local youth increased their awareness of violence, available support structures, and EU values. Schools and community partners engaged with antiviolence activities. Dissemination materials, including a multilingual brochure with case studies, supported long-term learning. The project strengthened social cohesion and improved youth participation in community life.
