Summary

Objectives
The "WorkINC" project aims to improve the inclusion of VET trainees in SMEs by making the experience responsive to expectations and by trying to prevent exclusion and marginalisation issues through the development of tools to measure the degree of inclusion of VET trainees in SMEs, the design of a course aimed at training a worker already working in SMEs and the deployment of technology products to support the target groups.

Activities
The project - carried out by an experienced transnational partnership - aims to achieve its objectives through the realisation of 3 WorkPackages:

  1. WORKINC index - definition of a VET trainee inclusion index in SMEs
  2. Training for inclusion officers - implementation of an e-learning training course for inclusion officers in SMEs
  3. WORKINC Work Inclusion Platform - publication of an online platform on the inclusion index

Impact
The project aims to realise three innovative products (Workinc Index, Training for inclusion officer, WORKINC Work Inclusion Platform) which are closely interrelated. The transfer of these to the target group will bring results in terms of improved inclusion of VET trainees in SMEs, increased awareness in the choice of company, increased SMEs in inclusion policies, increased skills and knowledge for SME workers.
